The doctoral workshop offers PhD candidates a unique possibility to present and discuss their research projects in an inspiring academic and practical community.

Call for Papers

Participants of the doctoral workshop will be selected by our technical committee based on submitted abstracts of maximum 800 words.
Your proposals should indicate the stage of the PhD process, the research question, central propositions, and the methodological design including your supervisor's name in a few pages A4 size file. Your applications should further include your current CV and a confirmation that you are currently registered as PhD students.

Participants chosen to present their researches should:
-- complete payment of a workshop fee by the end of July: a student presenter 6500 yen includes the conference(Sept.7-8th) participation
-- submit a conference paper by the end of August： finish between 3,500-4,500 words

Deadline for Submission	May 31, 2017		・800 words abstract. ・Proposal within 3,000 words (the stage of the PhD process, the research question, central propositions, and the methodological design including your supervisor's name in a few pages A4 size file) ・CV should be submitted in the separate PDF files ・A confirmation that you are currently registered as PhD students. Grant for Excellent Proposals

We have a few grants for those whose proposals for the doctoral workshop are excellent in the process of our preliminary reviewing. Here are details of the grant:

--For Ph. D candidates living outside of Japan: JP100,000 Yen
　　(including traveling costs and accommodation), free for the conference
--For Ph. D candidates living in Japan: JP10,000 Yen
　　(including traveling costs and accommodation), free for the conference

ドクトラル・ワークショップ開催概要

■場　所：　早稲田大学早稲田キャンパス
■テーマ： 企業と社会に関するテーマを広く歓迎します
本ドクトラル・ワークショップは、博士課程学生を対象に、示唆に満ちた学術的・実践的コミュニティの中で各自の研究成果を報告し議論を行うという、ユニークな機会を提供するものです。

本ワークショップに参加いただくには、下記を提出頂き、専門委員会による審査を通過する必要があります。

【提出いただくもの】
・1500 字のアブストラクト/概要
・プロポーザル（博士課程における研究進捗、リサーチクエスチョン、中心的な命題、研究手法
指導教官名を含めたA4サイズ数ページにまとめたもの）
・最新のCV
・博士課程に在籍していることを証明するもの
アブストラクト、プロポーザル、ＣＶはそれぞれ別々のPDFファイルに保存し、提出物一式を2017年5月31日までに、企業と社会フォーラム事務局(info@j-fbs.jp) 宛てに提出してください。
プログラム委員会による審査結果は、2017年6月30日までにe-mailにより通知されます。

審査通過者としてワークショップにおいて研究報告を行う者は、
①参加費の納入：7月末まで報告者・学生枠の参加費￥6500（大会にも参加できます）
②カンファレンス・ペーパーの提出：8月末までに6,000-8,000字程度にまとめる

優秀な報告への補助について

報告者の中で、事前審査の際、優秀と認められた報告については、次のような補助があります（若干名。）
・海外在住の博士課程在籍の大学院生：補助金額10万円（旅費・宿泊費込）、大会参加費無料
・日本在住の博士課程在籍の大学院生：補助金額1万円（旅費・宿泊費込）、大会参加費無料
